The Preserve offers intimate, hands-on encounters with Asian elephants and other exotic animals, focusing on education and conservation in a beautiful Hill Country setting.
The Preserve provides a rare opportunity to connect with incredible animal ambassadors through immersive experiences. The 1.5-hour Elephant Experience allows guests to meet Asian elephants, learn about their care and conservation, and even help give them a bath. For those looking to explore further, the seasonal Animal Expedition offers a walking tour to meet kangaroos, wallabies, and feed giraffes. Both experiences are designed to foster a deeper empathy for these remarkable creatures and highlight the importance of conservation efforts.
Wheelchairs and walkers are welcome for the Elephant Experience. The Animal Expedition is a walking tour, and the operator does not recommend wheelchairs or walkers for that program.
Pets are not allowed to attend, and shaded parking is not available, so please leave them at home. However, service animals are welcome in accordance with ADA requirements.
The Elephant Experience takes place outside, so we recommend checking the weather for Stonewall, TX, and dressing accordingly. There is no need for special clothing, as you will not get wet or dirty, but closed-toe shoes are a good idea.
